The location was exceptionally nice for Albufeira, short walk to a beautiful private beach as well as a taxi to albufeira town. There was Pizzeria Ristorante Capri minutes away from the hotel.

You need to have a car, its a bit far out. I had one anyway, so no worries.

Location near the beach
The room was on 3rd floor without elevator, very old, not very well-cared. In this time of the year the AC would be desirable. We know that the price wasn't very expensive but this kind of rooms aren't a good publicity to the hotel.

The balcony and the view from it, are very nice and really makes you feel 100% in vacation mode.
A microwave would be a good investment, the beds aren't good, as well as the rest of the furniture which is indecently old.

Directions were sketchy. We stopped and asked pedestrians and restaurant personnel before finally getting the general location. No indication is given on the booking confirmation that registration takes place in another building, which also gives no indication of its involvement with algarve gardens. We were not told the accommodation was in a tower block and when we finally reached the studio apartment found it extremely dated, with creaky, uncomfortable beds. The duvet was far too warm. I tried to sleep under the top cover only but it was polyester and kept slipping off. One very flat pillow was insufficient but the main building too far away to request another. It was simply a one night stay so the cooking facilities were unimportant. Bathroom very dated. Tv at least 20 years old!
